Would it be rude to get into someone's pool when you have a bunch of scabs?

A friend invited me over to chill and swim but my arms are covered in scabs. Would it be rude/unhygienic to get in his pool?

Help us keep this site organized and clean. Thanks!

  • If the scabs aren't bleeding, then it should be fine to swim.

  • How did you get the scabs? If it's from something infectious then maybe avoid the pool, but if they are physical injuries like cuts/scratches etc then I don't think it matters.

  • Ask your friend about this. Why do you have so many scabs?

  • Nah the chlorine will eat up any of the bacteria

  • I would pick them first so you can leak puss and blood into the pool. I'm sure your friend will be okay with it.

  • if your scabs fall off in the water and you have an open wound and then some one else pees in there...then double yuck!! although fresh pee is good for your health so maybe puttin it in an open wound would heal you

  • Of course, keep your scabby ass out of our pool until you are well; for both our sakes.

  • It's not that it would be rude but it would not be good for the scabs on your arm with all the chlorine in the water getting into the the scab...

  • As long as you're not diseased or have any open wounds you should be fine

  • Depends if the pool is filled with piranhas.
