Work as bingo host

I have social phobia and for some reason I have applied for a job as a bingo host and now I have been offered an interview. It sounds like they need the spot filled urgently and that means I might get the job.
Do you need to be good at numbers for such a job? I have dyscalculia (which is like dyslexia but for numbers) or do you just need to read the number on the balls? I dont know if this job suits me but ive been unemployed for years need to start somewhere.

First off congratulations on getting the interview. In terms of responsibilities did they provide a job description? I doubt there will be much if any maths involved unless it’s a combined role of some sort.

I suspect the majority of the job will just require presentation and customer service skills, it would be good to do some research on the games they play there and familiarise yourself with the rules before hand.

    Best of luck.

Firstly google how bingo works. It’s crazy simple. Second, you don’t actually have to converse with anyone. But you do have to make annoying announcements. Look it up on YouTube. Then you’ll be completely prepared for what they expect of you.

That sounds like really good exposure therapy, so that's probably the reason you chose it. And if so, good on you! You've probably already started the position by now. Hope it's going well!
