Just make sure ylu dont fall for the same trap as others and get a degree that doesnt pay well.
You could also consider getting a trade. University will have you in debt and then when its all said and done you'll make less than your neighbor whos a plumber or something. Unless you are going for certain jobs its honestly a bad move.

At my company even the managers who run the bulding are being chosen over college graduates. Someone will apply with a masters degree and they will say well this other guy has actually worked here for 10 years and knows how to run the building and we trust him so we are choosing him. They will often choose him over someone with college because he knows the ins and outs of the business. College may be a plus but you'd still have to work your way up in many situations.

Taking the help of an immigration consultant is a good idea or not?

Yeah but also look at the market and make your own determinations because if a consultant works for the state and the state needs a type of worker now whos to say its not a field that will be less profitable in the next few decades. Its hard for me to explain but make sure you're looking after your own interests and dont totally rely on them too. They have their interests you have yours. They wont always allign.
