Actually it has been proven guys do not cheat any more than women do and that women cheat just as much.

The reason anyone cheats, man or woman is because there is something missing in the relationship that the man or woman has turned to someone else to find and get what is missing in their current relationship.

People may not always know what it is that is missing in their relationship but that is the reason why anyone, man or woman cheats.

depends on the situation... i personally only date in open relationships so i dont have this issue

Some people lack self control

Because some of them are sick people who enjoy cheating partly for the sake of cheating.

Men often find that they miss the thrill of conquest, the feelings of pure, joyful, unadulterated lust and shared passion. It can be such an ingrained pattern of behavior that is very hard to quit.
Monogamy is great if you consciously seek to keep passion in your relationship. You can't put your sexual lives on hold, it is the glue that holds most couples together for decades. It takes commitment to keep that bond alive.

You get to have a regular guaranteed get laid and then go out and find other girls. Girls do this more than guys, but are usually throwing some kind of expectation of financial support from the guy on top of the reasons to keep the relationship going

I've asked a lot of guys this and the answer is always plain and simple, they LIKE to cheat.

Some guys do not cheat despite having unattractive girl and some guys cheat despite having attractive girl. Cheaters may not have emotions and crave pleasure from different sources.

I wonder the same about women who cheat. Why the heck do people cheat when they willingly go into a monogamous relationship? Why don't they just cut their losses and end things? I get that they love each other, but sometimes they need to put that aside and stop being miserable.

Idk why but we're programmed that way, I've never cheated but I've thought about it as I'm sure most guys have. Enough is never enough, and it's not that it's better so much as it's new and different.

Guys cheats for lots of different reasons...some are just scumbags and do it just because they can, some are unhappy in their current relationship but can't be bothered to end it(yes, even guys that are dating hot women can be unhappy with the relationship), some do it because they're weak minded and have no self control and will sleep with anybody willing to sleep with them.
