Why do fat people lie and say they have an eating disorder?
Seriously if you're overweight or fat that's not an eating disorder , that's called just lying for attention is it not?

Hi! I'd like to give my two cents on this bad boy.
-Some overweight ppl are recovering from eating disorders! It's pretty common for people who are recovering from an eating disorder to go from one body extreme to another until they can find a balance of eating. Often, when you are recovering from such a disorder, a normal intake of food can make your stomach ache. The natural solution would be to eat more, assuming you're still hungry. It really can just be one of those vicious cycle things. In fact, if you know the person, it might not even be that they're fat, just not stick-thin like you're used to seeing them.
-Overeating disorders are still eating disorders. An eating disorder is pretty much just an unhealthy intake of food, be it too much, or too little. If you overeat, it still counts as a disorder. Both overeating and undereating are unhealthy.
If someone is severely overweight then they are eating when they aren't hungry. It's emotional. It's not an excuse, and they still need to lose the weight, but I think the emotional element makes it a legitimate eating disorder.
They need to change their thought patterns and behaviours in order to eat less. Like an anorexic person would do to help them eat more.
Some overweight people have eating disorders, and some don't. Stop lumping them all together, get your head out of your ass!
The same reason trolls write inflammatory posts. They don't get enough of it in their personal lives, so they resort to other methods of gaining satisfaction.

I don't think any of these are correct. We live in a time where fat acceptance runs rampant in culture. People who are overweight are told that it is not their fault and they even believe it. "Its just my jeans" and "Is normal for me" are all too common. People are beginning to believe the lies that they hear and then repeat it.
Eating disorders are a definite cause, but all too many overweight people got that way because the cheapest and most easily accessible food, is fast food. Exercise is out of the quesion, and so eventually they gain weight. Even from a young age, the amount of overweight children is growing over the years, due to their family's lifestyle.
It is really unfortunate, but that is what the world is coming to.
Well, genetics plays a large part in it. Some people have a much harder time losing weight. They have to starve themselves to look 'normal'. Samoans are a good example.
Other people have large stomachs or something and they have to eat a lot to feel full. So it's harder for them.
Then there are people that just eat too much and get fat. But these people won't claim to have an eating disorder.
They do have eating disorders, but some use that as a way to deflect the responsibility of their choices.
I found it difficult to face the 10 pounds or so that I gained.
It takes resolve to face up to hundreds of pounds on your person, and decide to fix the issue.
Never trust a skinny chef! Fat ppl do lie and thats all i got on this dumpy fact? Lol
