Why are older people today are so useless?

They say older people are wise but alot of them act like people my age, and I'm in my 20's. I think these days most people peak in high school or even middle school. Everybody just acts dumb.

Anyone who sees themselves as "peaking in high school" needs to get a clue, move to a different area, and stand on their own. I don't agree with the supposed "brain condition" stated above; It's a maturity thing, and people in their 20s just don't have it anymore. Most are extended adolescents. In other words..Kids.

While I do know several 20-somethings who are on their own and working hard, most are neither. Example: young, very cute blonde hostess at the sports bar I go to is 22, works two jobs, plus paints portraits on the side, admits to barely having a social life but pays her own way, and has a great head on her shoulders. Another, same age..Can't get her life together if you gave her a blank check and free condo. Always in trouble and has life drama, got fired from the bar, then brought back after she practically begged, doesn't have custody of her son (kids having kids..but that's another issue), and bounces from place to place to live, or sometimes, just sleep. And you're telling me that older people have dementia?

Right you are. Computers have always been a young person's game. When I graduated from college, I launched my career with a corporation that needed programmers. There were so few kids available to do the work, that we wrote code generators to get the job done more efficiently. Soon, we were automating entire work groups out of existence.

Today, computers drive everything from robots to sensors to cell phones. Old software engineers like me have earned our million dollar retirement funds and don't give a fuck. We are worthless because we can afford be worthless.

i don't agree with you. i don't disagree fully either. i just keep hearing the saying can't teach an old dog new tricks.

so if you bank knowledge into a small thing like computer knowledge your 100% correctly but knowledge on as a hole.. well i'm sure it's those 20 year olds that are finding things for research to cure things and infact i think it was the 19 year old that developed the flu shot. hahaha humor get it !

When you get old, answer this question for yourself.

I don't know how old you mean but people keep living older and older until they are geriatric and that's a huge burden.

The problem you are seeing is a result of the amount of information people are exposed to. The younger generation has been exposed to significantly more information then their parents. Also you might not count the things older people know as useful.

Also you might be living in a country with a poor education system. Like the U.S..

Im 16 and my opinion on this. I dont think people get wiser when they get older if they dont have to go through things that make them wiser. Young people these days havr to go through surprisingly much in a little too fast phrase. Basically if you are 16 and you havent been depressed, bullied and you always been a butterfly among the bees. Your gonna have a hard time sooner or later. When most of us would think its fine already. Its hard to be young? Its hard to be old? Thats just selfish. Because its supposed to be hard to live.

    • You make sense kid. Stay gaining knowledge. Never fall victim to circumstances.

That must be why countries & multinational companies are ran by 21 year olds & teenagers are left in charge of aircraft carriers.

This has become more common, and more normal, as time goes on; but it would have been considered to be uncommon and abnormal years ago.

It is all because the world's protective geomagnetic field has been gradually weakening over time.
This exposes the general population to more space-based energy and particles, mostly due to the Sun, but due to other cosmic sinks and sources, as well.

What this is doing, is it is causing space-brain dementia to develop in a greater and greater proportion of the population.
People in this condition have lost their higher reasoning ability, and are less able to learn new things. They increasingly rely on what they had learned when they were younger, and increasingly rely on their animal instincts to survive.
    They have become corrupted.

Wisdom is gained through continuous learning through childhood, adolescence, adulthood, and into old age.
People who have developed space-brain dementia have lost this ability, at some point in their life.

The older a person is, the more space-based energy and particles they have been exposed to.
Also, the usual age-related degenerative brain conditions that affects some people also comes into play, and is enhanced by space-brain dementia.

But, this is not affecting just old people. Many young people are also suffering from this condition.
Currently, at least 60% of the population of younger people have space-brain dementia, and are unable to learn anything.
Keep this in mind. More than half the people that you see walking around (or driving) out there have this condition, to some extent, and they could be any age, from any walk of life, and in any level of social status or responsibility.

This will only become worse over time, because there will increasingly be greater exposure to the population; and because demented people often reproduce more prolifically than normal, rational and reasonable people do.
It will likely soon cause a catastrophic global collapse of civilization. You should be prepared for this.

I am often astounded that people in this condition quite often continue to live for a long time; and don't kill themselves, or end up getting themselves killed, because their behaviour is repetitively irrational.
When civilization collapses, most of them will likely die-off within a very short span of time (weeks to months), because they won't know what to do to meet their basic necessities of life.

You should always wear your tinfoil hat when you are outside. I can see from your ramblings that the weakening of the geomagnetic field has affected your brain function to a very large degree.

You can't hide from it, you can't run from it, and you ignore it at your own peril!

This is blatently obvious. You, and many others have become demented and corrupted, and you are no longer able to understand or reason your way out of what is really happening in the world.
It will eventually cause your demise.
