Which side do you favor

A programmer (programmers) works at a software company. His computer monitor is NOT big enough for him to work on MULTIPLE computer windows at the same time, decreasing his working efficiency.

Using the small monitor he needs 1 hour to finish 1 app, with the large one/an extra monitor he could finish 1 app in 50 minutes.

The company is now deciding whether or not to invest in upgrading to larger monitors/buying extra monitors for the team

Group A rejects upgrading for reasons:

1) As long as the job is done it’s all good.
2) It’s a waste of money to upgrade / it just makes things 10 minutes faster
3) The money can be saved for other purposes

Group B agrees to upgrade for reasons:
1) 10 minutes saved making each app adds up to a lot of hours per month
2) The time saved could equate to more income for the company which could cover the cost of upgrading the equipment itself

Which side would you take?

    You really don't realize how helpful having a second monitor can be until you use one regularly. The benefits are worth it to me, the other sides are just being tight-wads. lol

    thats 1 extra app a day 7 apps a week. i'm sure the return of investment will work it self out well under 3 months.
