You have better grammar and spelling than most people on this site, can use a computer in the first place, are self-aware enough to know about the disease so I highly doubt you have it.

Well, honestly, I do. I act and think like a healthy person and I have no difficulty interacting with the society, but sometimes I do get things wrong like a retard. I always feel like I try hard to be normal, it works but sometimes I fail. I don't know if that makes sense to you but that's how I feel.

        Everyone makes mistakes.

Like what kind of things you get wrong?

Just be yourself, I dont know what you mean by "trying to act normal"

        You seem fine to me

Well, my looks alone make you think I have Down Syndrome. Even a person in school said it, it's not just me. I just want to know for sure before I decide what to do with my life.

What do I mean by '' trying to act normal ''? As a child I used to be really awkward when moving, I would even start shaking my hands repeteadly suddenly. I used to say awkward things.
When I realised I was weird, I started trying hard to be normal and copy others. It's hard to explain, but I'm just different, and I do feel that I'm retarded.

I don't know what mental conditon I have. Maybe I have Down Syndrome, maybe something else, but I just know that I'm not normal and I want to be diagnosed. I'm sure I have Down Syndrome though but I don't know what to do to know for sure.

Looks dont matter. thats what im trying to say

because the person in your school is going only by looks most likely. you cant go by looks.

maybe you were nervous? that doesnt mean your retarded

you know you can always just ask a doctor if he thinks you have down syndrome right?

you honestly dont sound retarded though

like what do you do that makes you so "different"?

Ask your local medical clinic/hospital, ask for a diagnostic.

Just a normal GP, or at a hospital.

See a doctor: how do you expect us to diagnose you over the internet? It's ridiculous to think that because sometimes you don't do everything perfectly that means you are retarded.

I asked what to do and where to go to have it diagnosed, not if you can diagnose me.

dont see a doctor big waste of time , go online for genetic testing trisomy of chromosome 23 results in a range of Intelligence from idiot to retarded to normal. they will swab the inside of you cheek for cells . stain them , examine them , photograph the stained chromosomes, cut up the picture and line them up in pairs. Medical doctors dont do this stuff.

    Hi!

There is a variant of down syndrom called mosaic down syndrome/MDS. MDS is not as developed as DS and the extra chromosome is in a fraction of the cells.

"With mosaic trisomy 21, the error occurs after fertilization at some point during early cell division. This means people with mosaic Down syndrome have two cell lines –– one with the normal number of chromosomes, and one with an extra number 21." - Kathleen Fergus 2016

But it could as well be possible for you to have DS. Down syndrome is a spectrum and you do not need to be unintelligent to have it. If you feel like having it tested, you should have the right to do so.

To have this tested you'l have to visit some sort of clinic or a hospital, it depends on what country/state you live in.

But you don't necessarily need to have any of these syndromes.
