What would of said or done before your mom& dad died?

My mom & dad or 90. I go to visit them and mainly talk about current events, weather, aches & pains, and health. What do you wish you would have asked or done before they left this world?

Heavy question. My parents are both still alive and both great. I want to ask them "was I good son?" I would feel way too weird and awkward saying that to them, though, so I'm not sure I ever will.

Yes, I would've asked mum a question before she leaves this world, which is fine. I try to talk about weather to dad but he doesn't understand what I am, he gaslights me (and pisses me off) by telling me I do strange things. Go ahead and get me fucking wrong, everyone gets me wrong, making assumptions about me and telling me things I'm not. They cling to beliefs that are full of shit, making up their own beliefs like I'm a villain, it pisses me off, so yeh, I'll be glad if dad was dead.

Both my Mom and Dad were bad parents. In the end, I was very courteous to them and kept my mouth shut. Subconsciously, I think they accepted that I didn’t love them. My actions and commitment to fairness spoke for me.

Tell them you love them every single day, and everytime you see them!

Before my Mom died I wish I told her she was the best Mom ever. It bothers me still that I didn't. I did however tell my Dad that he was the best Dad ever before he died.

If I lost my mom or dad I would be thankful for them without them I wouldn't have succeeded and excelled far in life.

Idk I wish I was better with this type of stuff as my mom is sick. I have a lot of resentment towards my mother that I can't seem to get rid of. My ego is too strong to say anything too deep. My dad I respect a lot but feel he lost his temper and beat me too much. But one thing I'll say my parents did well is really instilled a solid work ethic in me. They were always against me missing work or school. To this day I never miss work I'm always doing something. Its paid off because it made it easy for me to find a dollar.

I'm lucky, my parents had their kids young. They'll potentially get to see their great grand kids. Same with my grandparents and that's looking more likely, very robust for 72.

Lucky? What luck? There's no luck! Being lucky doesn't exist, life is misfortune. And if it makes you feel better, I was the lucky one who accidentally won channel 9 merchandise.
