What was your most memorable year from the 2010s?

I have made two similar thread for 1990s and 2000s earlier, now its time for 2010s. Memorable doesn't necessarily have to be "good" , it can be both in good and bad ways. It just have to be the most important year, one that you will never forget.

Year 2019 5
Year 2018 3
Year 2017 4
Year 2016 5
Year 2015 6
Year 2014 5
Year 2013 3
Year 2012 6
Year 2011 2
Year 2010 3

I had a pretty awful decade, but 2013 I went on a cycle trip in Europe and all my family was over there at the time, it was an attempt to try get off drugs (relapsed upon return) and by 2019 I was clean and studying animation, something I’d always wanted to do.
So either of those two years but I’m going to go with 2013

2011 was one of the best years of my life. After spending 6 years in school with no friends or social life, and then another 18 months of unemployment isolated at home everyday, I joined a youth job skills course. They were really nice and tried to make everyone feel welcome, they actually cared about our well-being instead of only caring about the work at hand. There were people my own age there and I actually became friends with them. They invited me out to parties and stuff. I was 20 and I'd never been out to a party or ever drunk alcohol before (even though the age limit is 18 here). I felt so accepted and happy, I cried when that course was over.

Honestly, I don't know. 2015 was bad because it was the year Target completely got rid of my department at my job, but good thing was I met my boyfriend that year and I'm still with him having happy moments. 2017 was the year I got into the Market department, got a raise, got more hours and was able to buy a better car. 2019 the store location I worked at closed, but the good thing was I transferred to a new place. The managers at the new place saw how I always got things done and I'm making even more now. XD

What was the department you used to work in that Target got rid of, Cuntsiclestick? I used to work in Target from the fall of 2001 until January of 2003.

Target Cafe(formerly known as Food Avenue). We sold chicken tenders, sandwiches, salads, pretzels, hotdogs, and other hot foods. They turned it into a Starbucks and I briefly tried working there. It didn't work out so well, but that's ok. I'm happy in Market. XD

Target has been slowly phasing out their Target Cafe and Pizza Hut since 2014. My old location got rid of it in the summer of 2015. Both didn't make enough sales for them to want to keep it around.

Got early signs of brain hemorrhage on 2014. Even though they're early signs, It's the most excruciating headache I've experienced in my entire life to the point I seriously thought I would be a history. It felt like as if my brain was continuously struck by a giant hammer with immense force to the point I threw up profusely while my vision got fucked at the same time. Say if I got an offer to be a millionaire but at the expense of experiencing such absolute horror again, I will still scream ''fuck no!'' in a heartbeat.

It sure is the most brutal and agonizing kind of headache that make you feel like screaming barrage of swear words along the way like shit just gets very real. It felt like as if the brain was going to explode. Still can't believe I made it to the ER on time while finding out there was a small bleeding spot at the right side of the brain.
        :-(

I am still unsure what's the exact cause but during PE class back in highschool, my head used to get hit by a stray soccer ball flying at great speed from a far off distance to the point I fell down on the floor on an instant from the strong impact.

I also used to get hit very hard on the head by an asshole teacher numerous times because I suck at math when I was 10(still suck at it). Those two might be the contributing factors. Those sucked so mind your head, lol.

Thank you <3. It was my second year of unemployment after graduating with a Masters, the business I had tried to set up to get financially independent was failing, my parents took advantage of my vulnerability to the point that members of my church offered me money and accommodation, my mental health took a nosedive and I kept spacing out to the point that I had more than one minor bike accident; my grandmother died, when I got a job I was groomed by my (female) boss who would later grope me and then gaslight, and I was bullied by colleagues who either sensed her favouritism of me, hated people of religion, or both (this was in Western Europe, which is very different from what I've heard about the US. Anyone with a passionate faith that isn't Catholicism is viewed as dangerous; anyone with a passionate faith that is Catholicism is snubbed as being politically far-right, or is viewed as a snob or an enemy of progress, with the exception of some cities.)

2016 without a doubt, especially October. My AFL team won the grand final after a 60 year gap, I had my 70th birthday, unexpectedly found a lover (or he found me?) after a far too long period of celibacy and had a wonderful birthday party with family and friends. I wish I could do it all over again!

2010 best. 2010. I traveled to South Africa and saw the best world cup ever, always a huge fan of Spain since Euro 2008 and they did it in the best finals ever against Netherlands, and I am a huge fan of football since the 1994 world cup. Also after graduating from College in 2009, 2010 was the year i got my first first job and moved to my new home and dated my hot coworker (we split in 2012, she is now married). So yeah 2010 was a thriller. Life is horrible 10 years later, like that of a machine, its just work, come home and I am too tired to do anything else, have no leisure now. 2010 was by far the best year for me !

They are literally our only hope for the future. I can agree that many people are not very good at raising productive members of society. But that is not the value of the child that is questionable, that is the value of the adult.

Cats are cool too. So are dogs. So are lemurs. So are sharks.

Too many bad parenting and overpopulation to make kids useful. They are just mostly future bad persons, especially the incoming generation (trust me, I've worked with kids for 3 years).

Sharks are not that cool. You can't have them in your house and they are hard to feed. They're also not really good at cuddles.
