What universities come to mind as the top in the world?

Oxford, Harvard, Cambridge

Santa Clause University is Located relatively close to the North Pole. That's either the top or bottom of the world depending on your perspective (people in the northern hemisphere of the world say its on the top, people in the southern hemisphere usually says its on the bottom).

They are also very selective on student candidates.

When I visited the UK in 2014, I took a brief trip to Oxford Uni and the surrounding area. I ended up buying an Oxford University official hoodie. Every time I wear it at home, people ask me when I plan to graduate from there, or if Im on holiday. At this point I roll with it.

The first that came to mind was Harvard.

Cambridge has the edge over Oxford in science. Oxford is better known for its eccentrics. Harvard and Yale probably outclass both of them. Tbh, I think a lot of Oxford's renommée is contemporary legend.

Trump University.

The one Santa attended.

The ones with the walls that are as old as the Mayan civilization and withstood centuries. Politics aside I harbor a respect for places of knowlage and learning.

The magic is that "best universities" are not location dependent anymore. Since the nature of discovery of knowlage to be commonplace and with the instant nature of the internet, every location has relative access to the bastion of human knowledge. This will only further our understanding our worlds and essence.

Oxford. For U.S., Johns Hopkins, Princeton, Yale, Harvard.
