  • The hymn 'Abide With Me'
Modern Christian song: 'Endless Hallelujah' - Matt Redman

    Secular music:
'The Sound of Silence' - Simon and Garfunkel
'Hallelujah' - Leonard Cohen (the full version)

"I did my best, it wasn't much
I couldn't feel, so I tried to touch
I've told the truth, I didn't come to fool you
And even though it all went wrong
I'll stand before the Lord of Song
With nothing on my tongue but 'Hallelujah'

    Hallelujah
    Hallelujah
    Hallelujah
    Hallelujah"

Other than that, a lot depends on how long I live and what my life turns out to be like.

  • John Denver Country Roads Take me Home as I am tossed out into the ocean, followed by Tool Stinkfist, then Elton John and Billy Joel playing Piano Man in Central Park Live.

Or just toss me in a dumpster.

  • I'd like to choose "Rock You Like a Hurricane" by Scorpions. I imagine a big Church filled with the people I love the most and as the first guitar solo drops, my coffin enters da house carried by people in black suits and sunglasses, with my rocking face stamped on it. Hell yeah my funeral would be legendary

  • I adore the song Good Riddance (Time of your Life) by Greenday. It is a great funeral song but not really appropriate for myself.

I could be funny and play I will Survive....but that's not actually my style.

I'd go with something like Parting of the Sensory by Modest Mouse.

  • Good Question, and Easy.
    I DID IT MY WAY.
    The sid vicious version.
I can't think of anything more appropriate.
    It's pure.
Raw, offers no appologies, and asks for no foregiveness.
    Or as popeye would say:
    I was, what I was.

  • I dont want a funeral, I want my body dumped in the middle of nowhere so the plants and animals can feed on me or I want a small crypt built on the middle of nowhere and yea

  • I think "Underneath the Stars" by Kate Rusby would be a great funeral song, I might have that.
