What should i do about this?

My friend, I'm going to pretend his name is Bobby, had told me there was this one guy that liked me, I had a suspicion on who it was, turned out I was right. Bobby had told me the guy that liked me was going to ask me out sometime this week, but I like somebody else. The guy is nice, funny, tall, and smart, but once again, I like someone else. I really don't want to reject him because he's my friend and he's fun to be around, so I began avoiding him to make sure he doesn't ask me out and I don't have to reject him and there wouldn't be any awkwardness, but my friend, let's pretend her name is Gizelle, told me he probably would start thinking I hated him, so I really don't know what to do, help, honest opinions and good advice please. Also, I'm really into zodiac signs and stuff, so I checked online, I'm a Taurus and he's a Capricorn, according to many sources, it's a perfect match, but I continue to have feelings for someone else, please help! What should I do??
