What's your favorite video game?
I'm attached to a good chunk of the Sonic games despite the fact that there's a mix of hit or miss games there. How about y'all?

tbh i can't really pick just one because there's so many good ones, for me i really enjoy animal crossing, pokemon, dead by daylight and the far cry series. i've also started getting into the sims more though i find building the houses and stuff more fun than the actual gameplay lol. OH i also really like planet zoo
I have good memories of GTA San Andreas. Scrapland on the first Xbox is very underrated. Even further back, in my childhood, digger t rock on the nes, a sentimental favourite.
Then just cos I’ve gotten greedy with my answer I’m going to throw in goldeneye and Zelda: ocarina of time on n64 as well.
GTA. It's my favorite video game series. It's like playing out an action movie. It's all there... the drama, the shootouts, the snappy one-liners, the 80s and 90s references, comedy moments, crazy stunts and the dream lifestyle of a successful criminal.
With GTA IV being an exception, the tragic story of the American dream for 2 serbs. This was the heaviest GTA game that dealt with a lot of difficult subjects. Grief, betrayal, self hate, depression, violence against women, psychological illness, lgbt issues, PTSD, veterans problems, corruption and so much more.
That'll be the nords... you know the main inhabitants of skyrim? 50% resistance. Makes sense though, gonna fight people with Ice magic when they are already fighting bare chested on a mountainside?
Though an interesting thing about ice magic in skyrim is that it's not formed to freeze but to stab and impale. Spikes and spears were as all fire has to do is set you on fire. Idk if it's an artistic choice or the dev's thought about it a bit.
Yeah I know but there's a boost you can get from hermeaus mora that deals the opposite gender of your character more damage and and most people in Skyrim are male and eventually I got so much magicka that I just blitzed them with ice storm before they could get to me that ice witch build actually ended up getting super op eventually but early game was a drag.
No singular game or franchise, but mostly indies. Sometimes I'm so impressed by a game, that I have to tell everybody about it (if you like side-scrolling beat-em'-ups, play a game called Aces Wild). I can't really do that with AAA games because everyone already knows about the game. Of course, when I tell people about stuff like Baba Is You, Cruelty Squad, Distance, Hypnospace Outlaw, Klang, Retro/Grade, Titan Souls, or Serious Sam, they get scrunchy because the stuff's too weird.
Not that I have anything against mainstream games. I love most Nintendo first-parties, especially Splatoon. I'm also a fan of the Resident Evil series, the Yakuza series, the Kingdom Hearts series, the Dark Souls series, the Ace Attorney series, Danganronpa, DJMax, Undertale, Hotline Miami, the list goes on and on.
If I had to choose one game that I have the most nostalgia for... it would probably be Phantasy Star Online (not 2). Played that game with my brothers a lot when we were kids.
