i hate when people keep babbling around ,i can't stand loud noises or any sort of music. even rain sound is kind of annoying. what's wrong with me?
Nothing. You're just more auditory sensitive than most people. Keep yourself in a low decibel environment. You must be a very contemplative person.
Hey, as someone who is mildly autistic, I too hear things that others don't pick up on. Certain sound frequencies drive me up the wall (insect buzzing eeeeek). My hearing is like a fuzzy radio that's in between two stations. Some get mildly upset when I don't pay attention, but those people don't understand the struggle.
You can look up Misophonia and see if people who have that have any suggestions
I’m autistic so I can relate
I hate the sound of breathing. Even my own breath and when I walk around. I hate the feeling of breathing on my own skin.
You likely have misophonia. I have it and it sucks. My main triggers are loud chewing and yawners.
Same, or slurping and or smacking after a sip of a drink.
What's wrong with you is that you can't take rain sounds, that you don't ignore background noise and that you need to lie in your recliner and read a book to help you to relax.
You just really hate noise.
