What's the worst store you've ever been to?

I think Wal-Mart takes the cake. Sure their prices are good, but the amount of druggies, crazies, and weirdos, who act out in public just make me stay away.

How about you? Is it Wal-Mart as well? Is it another store? Why was the store bad?

Help us keep this site organized and clean. Thanks!

I fart openly at Walmart as an act of protest against my fellow patrons whenever I go in there.

There's this newsagent (if you can call it that) in an old suburb in my town and every time I go past I see the same scene; the shop owner, (who looks like someone who saw a UFO in the 70s and never got over it) talking to a bearded man in a beanie (there have been a few, but they're all bearded and they all wear beanies)
His shop looks like it belongs in Cuba, he wouldn't have more than 10 items sparsely spread across his shelves and there's a big plasma tv sat ontop of milk crates positioned awkwardly across the back corner of the shop.

I’m so curious as to what the f*ck, it's probably a front for something I suppose. I see some interesting shops like this in that area and some of them I really don't know how they survive.

This reminds me of a nearby town with two American candy shops right next door to each other. They both have cheap shelving, cardboard cut-out characters and basically no staff. One of them sells Cheetos for £7 per bag. I’ve seen 15 year-olds twerking in there but never a paying customer. Most obvious fronts I’ve ever experienced.

and of course if someone mentions minors it has to be something sexual, 15 year olds twerking is disgusting and how do you know their age?

They were in school PE kits so couldn’t have been older than 16.

Random crap Serbian gas station after Belgrade. One time while driving from Germany to Bulgaria, I was running low on fuel, the OMV gas station I usually filled up at was closed. So I had no choice and stopped at a Serbian one. Worst fuel ever.

Car started smoking black everytime I accelerated, performance got worse and laggy, fuel efficiency got worse and I had to do 2 cleanups with Liqui moly cleaners to get my C-class back to normal.

And the cashier fucked me over. Serbia has dinars, but they accept Euro. They just calculate what X dinars equals in Euro. But they screw you with the exchange rates and take more Euros than they should. The change they gave me wasn't in Euro either, it was their stupid Serbian money. Dafuq am I gonna do with it? It's useless in the EU.

PS: Don't fuel up in Hungary. They are assholes and will screw you with the exchange rates a lot worse! Think buying 50 bucks worth of gas for 150 bucks.

I usually like Wal-Mart because they usually have everything I need (provided it's actually in stock) and the prices are good, but it seems like they can never keep anything in stock. The one closest to me is always out of so many things.

I worked at a local grocery store I really didn't like. Rude people, poor management, overpriced (especially considering the quality wasn't that great and they constantly bragged about how low their prices were, even though they were higher than other places including Wal-Mart), their salad bar and deli were disgusting, and they were horrible at training employees. I went through one night of "training" by some kid who also didn't really know what they were doing, then was sent out on the floor by myself after that and barked at for not knowing things I hadn't been taught. The managers acted like they hated being there and were annoyed any time any of us had questions.

Other than that, I can't really think of any stores I don't like. I do dislike extremely disorganized ones.

There's a gas station near where I live that I refuse to go to anymore. Every time I've stopped there, there are always at least 3 employees working and two of them are doing jack shit the entire time. They'll literally be standing behind the counter folding their arms and chatting while one employee takes care of every single customer

I avoid Walmart like the plague. And it’s not Bc of the other customers. There’s never enough employees. There’s no organization. You have to travel a half a mile just to get to the toilet paper.

Also after the 4th one got built in my 1 town, that was an end to the relationship for me.
