What's the pettiest thing you have/would end a friendship over?

For me, I can't be friends with anyone who fanboys or fangirls too hard over that overrated-as-hell musical Hamilton. I don't know why such an overwhelmingly mediocre musical became everyone's preferred masturbatory material, but it's annoying as shit to me

Help us keep this site organized and clean. Thanks!

My best friend told me he had to work and couldn’t make it to my 30th. Although hurt, I would’ve forgiven him for that. But a petty action ontop of that ended it for me. Upon hearing that I was upset about it, he posted a meme to my Facebook wall making fun of me.

So yeah, essentially, my best friend of 23 years is no longer my friend over a meme lol

Once a friend asked to barrow a DVD (Pocahontas) and I agreed. He didn't return it so when I asked to return the DVD he said "NO! I don't have it anymore, that movie was GAY" the end. 😐

Maybe if they indulged in a weird pursuit like Amway, Mary Kay, or cannibalism.

I had a roommate in college who was heavily into Amway, and it was hella creepy despite the fact that I had never heard of Amway before in my life up to that point.

Pettiest? Well I have ended a friendship because the friend didnt include me as much anymore. I dont care about being part of things but I care about the gesture and about effort staying the same.
I ended an internet friendship by blocking a dude because he annoyed me with his constant spamming of songs he wanted to share.
I've been close to ending the friendship to one of my friends for being annoying and for watching gaming youtubers which I find immature and stupid.
People get on my nerves too easily. Life is a constant battle to be nice and overlooking peoples flaws.

I can't be friends with someone who continuously pursues a married person, or someone in a relationship. I can't be friends with men, or women who cheat on their partners! I can't be friends with someone who is a homewrecker, or a two-timer. There's a certain level of selfishness, and entitlement which I just can't tolerate.

I once met a woman who was working in jewelry store back in Las Vegas, and we got to talking. She told me that she lost her marriage to her husband's cheating ways, and sadly that's not so unusual, but then she told me that the other woman called her to tell her that her husband had made her, the other woman, have an abortion. I was just so taken aback, because what the hell does the homewrecker expect from the wife... sympathy? Oh, hell no! I don't care if you're pro-choice, or pro-life, but no wife should have to listen to that from the other woman. The wife certainly doesn't owe the other woman any pity, or sympathy as far as I'm concerned. It's this exact entitled attitude among certain people who lack a moral compass that has caused me to step back from Feminism. I don't believe that all women are my sisters! Any woman who pursues relations with a8 partner I might have is not, and never will be my sister. Yes, the women who suffer terribly in ass backward cultures where patriarchy, and misogyny are the norm are my sister's, and we need to help them, but not every woman in my sister, and don't owe anyone anything just because we share the same anatomy. I've certainly had more than my share of bad experiences with men, but I don't hate all men just because they're men, because that bullshit is ridiculous!

Anything, could be as little as a whim with no cause. Plenty of people to make friends with out there, nobody is valuable.

If they are mean to me/someone else for having obscure or unusual attractions I don't care how long we've been friends, their ass is blocked.
