I don't like using the word 'delicious' sounds too overbearing or too flamboyant
"Delicious" is a very common word, not overbearing or flamboyant at all! But if you just want something basic, you could say "this tastes very good".
"Gooood" or "good eatin"
"Hey Jimmy, how did that cake taste?"
That would be a great name for a chef.

There’s no winning it all sounds fruity, might as well twiddle your fingers while you say it
I was about to say how has no said scrumptious wtf then there you were at the very bottom
Tasty, savory, appetizing, so good, yummy, lip-smackin' good! (if you want to sound weird [if you use this I'm sorry])
