My favorite beer is Weltenburger Anno 1050. Made by the oldest monastery brewery in the world according to the original recipe from 1050 in Bavaria, not far from where I currently live. Naturally it's been slightly modernized and made safe to drink for us modern folk... But something feels extremely right about drinking a beer that has over 900 years of tradition behind it's name.

When they first made this stuff, the mechanical clock wasn't even a drawing yet...

Tho a close second is a beer from my country - Shumensko malt beer. 5% alcohol like most beers, so not a typical low alcohol malt beer. Really tasty.

    Lagers, imperials, IPA's, stouts, etc.

I've had the one you've mentioned before and enjoyed it. "Dirty Bull - Extra Crispy" is something you should try if you're into lagers. "Old Rasputin" is my favorite imperial, and Guinness Draught Stout is good if you don't know what you want. I drank "1906 Reserva Especial" yesterday - it was a bock style beer, and a little too sweet for my taste.

I love Belgium styles. They’re slightly sweet. But always high in alcohol. Aside from that I’ll drink anything but sours and IPAs.

Around the past holiday season Yeungling brewery made Yuengling Hershey Chocolate Porter. I really liked it but could only drink one per drinking session because it was so heavy/rich. I hope they put out more of it next winter.

Dale's Pale Ale if I'm looking for cheaper but still good. Megalodom if I want something good and strong and want to really get intoxicated.
