What is your boss music?

If life were a video game with a full soundtrack and you were a boss in the fight against the protagonist or are the protagonist what theme would you want to be playing in the background?

Mine would be: Resurgence by Jeff van Dyck

God's Gonna Cut You Down by Johnny Cash, of course! I would probably also have some sort of holy power because video game boss. The player would probably be the bad guy in that game.

    • Now that's a badass song to play in the background! I'm guessing you would be a Paladin?

Yeah well the way I imagined it was me seducing/having sex with women as my highlight reel, and there is definitely more than once that I've had amazing sex!

I have this feeling that his real-life love life theme is probably "Beverly Hills" by Weezer.
Basically that song is the incel national anthem.

    Rollins band - Step Back

It's not the lyrics or anything like that, it's just a fuckin hardcore heavy ass riff that sounds tough as fuck

Animus Vox by the Glitch mob. I'm a very squishy motherfucker, doubt if I was a boss in a game you would be facing up physically against me.

Though how I would kill the protagonist is by laying traps and corralling them into a killing floor. Of course I'm the kind of boss that begs for mercy when you get face to face with me so you have to spare me to get the "true or good" ending.

I like this question! Mine would probably be Step Two by Parov Stelar featuring Lilja Bloom.

Slow Emotion Replay by The The from their album Dusk!

Of course my life wouldn't be a video game, because video games bore me to death. My life would be an independent film, and the above song would be at the end with roll credits, and stills of my life/the movie that I thought were meaningful.

I was in a terrible accident on the Fourth of July in 1991, my passenger, and myself could have been killed had the accident been worse. One of the main things that I thought about afterwards was how grateful to God I was that R.E.M. was on the radio instead of something crappy that I didn't like. I was grateful to know that the last thing I heard would have been good.

Thank goodness, someone posted a song that isn't by some ghetto band.

Hah! I have a similar memory of a slightly less dangerous accident. We were listening to Gigantic by the Pixies. Next thing I know all 3 of us are in the back seat of a police car and I feel desperate that we cannot open the doors from inside.

Your song totally sounds like a roll-the-credits song!

What video games were you playing? Maybe you just haven't found the right genre yet.

I honestly don't remember, because I literally have zero interest in video games.

        Comment Hidden ( show )
      • Seems like rose would get a kick out of more somber games like finding Ethan Carter or Dear ester.

I'm not gonna start playing video games, but I did look those two up, and they look reasonably interesting.

I am the protagonist and also the boss in the game called life.

My track would be: Skillet - Feel Invincible.

Never stop, pedal to the metal until you make it!
