What is going on with the educated ppl
I talk to people on discord politics with all types of views. What has surprised me is to me the college educated seem to have a very weird outlook on life compared to the "non educated". For example I was talking to a college student a few days ago and I explained why it makes more sense for a mother to be the one to stay home and care for their children because of many reasons including that she makes the milk and breastfed kids are proven to have gotten many health benefits from it.
He told me that men can also breastfeed. That they just need to take hormones. Said there's no reason a woman should have to mother a child when a man can. And these "norms" are oppressive to women (hes assuming women dont want to mother their kids). And this person saying this was actually intelligent and sharp I could tell by talking to him. He had so many wacky views it blows my mind how educated people could have such odd views. I am starting to realize how Hitler was able to make very smart people think its ok to persecute jewish people. It doesn't really matter how smart you are.
