What do you think of low rise pants and skirts?

I've seen a lot of people in their late 20's to mid 30s complaining and getting really emotional about this style of clothing coming back. What do you think of it and why?

I was born in 1993 and I don't understand this. Why are people worrying about such silly things?

Not a fan either, but I have to admit I prefer those over the ones that rise above the bellybutton. Mid-rise is the best.

Its because millennials grew up in the 90s and early 2000s where clothes were big. Back then if you wore shorts the style was that they went over the knee. Now its done a complete 180 where young peeps wear them above the knee.

I feel like the style is going back to a 1970s style omly with ww2 style haircuts (the fades). I kind of like the shorter shorts myself. Mine are barely aboce the knee. Some of the highschoolers at my gym wear shorts that are thr size of underwear. Thats kind of awkward.

I thought the early-2000s was when the low-rise jeans trend peaked, and showing a shit ton of skin was the height of modernity?

I have always worn low rise jeans without even giving any thought to it. Lately replaced all my jeans with high rise ones though because it fits my overall style better and makes my ass look nice. I dont mind low rise, depending on how low they are...

I'm a 90s kid, so when I was in high school, tight, low-rise jeans were the hippest thing for girls and a nice treat for us boys. I always thought the look was sexy. My first big love was not a fan of low-rise jeans. She'd wear longer shirts to cover anything the low-rise jeans were showing. My wife is indifferent to the style, but she sometimes wears a pair, cause I like it.

Low-rise pants are a helluva lot better (aesthetically) than the high-rise, middle-aged, mom-pants that were and still continue to be modern.

Low-rise are better than high-rise for sure. I was born in 1999, and sadly, when I entered high-school in 2016, those were already long gone, replaced by the disgusting high-rise pants. 😒

I don’t even blink if someone’s wearing a sock on their ear I have what’s been diagnosed as fashion apathy

Low rise Jean's are good for showing shit on thong.

People seem to hate 2000s-style in general. I think it might have something to do with how extremely sexualized fashion was back then, which is considered " politically-incorrect " nowadays.

I hate the fit of them on me, and the fact that every time I sat down while wearing those, my asscrack would be exposed. I much prefer mid-rise.
