What do you do when someone of the other gender hurts your feelings?

Since every man and woman is very different I put all possible options up.

I just shrug it off. I do the same for women. Life's too short to let words hurt me.

This has changed considerably with age...
    Age 20 - Devastated.
    Age 30 - Slightly upset.
Age 40 - Not really bothered. Brush it off.
    Age 50 - Completely unmoved.
Getting older is great in some ways.

Nothing other people do is because of you. I just let it go. It took me forever to understand that, but I've found it to be true. I used to hold it in and cry, but I realized that anyone hurting your feelings -man or woman - is you agreeing to get invested that way.

Do the same you would do if a person of the Same gender hurt your feelings. It shouldn't be different. If a man tells you to Fuck off and you feel sad you should also be sad if a woman tells you to fuck off. The male isn't a sexist. The female isn't a feminist. They are people.

Please learn to respect women. You don't know how hard it is to be a woman in this world. Just imagine yourself being in the woman's place and a man is slapping you on your genitals just because you said something wrong. How would you feel? What have women done to deserve being objectified? We don't get to choose our gender.

      • @aaaa1234 Ok, that also goes both ways and it also means the women that kick men in the crotch just because he said something wrong should also stop. Men can loose their ability to have kids or at the worst be killed from that. Also women objectify men just as badly as men do to women. I am just putting it out there that it is not only men that do these things. Also the things you are talking about are basic courtesy not respect. Basic courtesy should be given from the first day you meet someone but respect is earnt.

No women are for two things filling stomachs and emptying dicks! It says so in the bible! Women think their equal because every desperate loser wants to get inside their pants! Men scrape the bottom of the barrel bending over backwards to get with the most disgusting women! So now all the decent ones only want rich pretty boys making decent guys work so hard just to get a date! Don't even get me started on women supervisors I'm 100 times stronger, faster, and just better at the job in general but everyone thinks the make great managers because they're wicked nasty cunts! I can keep going on how each day equality is shifting in their favor and I for one will not stand it! they're nothing but a bunch of dumb whores and I will put each one back in the kitchen where they belong!!!!! Whats so hard about being a woman... body issues? Dont make me laugh!

What you say about the problems you face at your workplace may be justified, I won't comment about it. But how can you even think about putting women back in the kitchen? You don't consider women as individuals! Do you know how hellish it is to be financially dependent on someone? Are you even human?

are you a woman? well i certainly don't want a mexican in the kitchen they're disgusting! aren't we all financially dependent? I have a penis must be human!

I don't considered them individual when they are so weak that they allow unrealistic standards of beauty to ruin their lives!

No, I am a man. I guess you didn't get what I meant by "financially dependent". I meant that even if a man looses his job, he can find another and at least make his living somehow. Whereas, if a housewife wants to move out, she might have nowhere to go and it will be extremely difficult for her to get a job, because she has almost no skills.

              By "human", I meant "humane".

What is wrong with having high standards of beauty? Even some men have them.

See Sir, we all know that "You Only Live Once". I wish to say that women should lead a fulfilling life just like men. In my opinion, a fulfilling life can only be lived by having self-respect, which can be obtained only by earning on your own, which can't be achieved by working in the kitchen.

How bad are we talking about right here? Context matters, buddy but I guess if we think about generally I'll just brush him off, I don't usually get upset at anything especially if it's from assholes but I guess if you're going manage to enrage me then I have to things for you: 1. Applause, it takes a LOT to REALLY piss me off 2. Broken bones and a black eye. Fuck you. Other than that, I guess I'll just complain about you on social media and everyone I know and may or may not get you fired from your job. I'm a vengeful cunt.

I suffer in silence because I'm too shy to say anything back. There was the time when my mother and I were walking past a house where black people live and there was a group of them out in the front yard talking and when we walked past they called us "White trash", it was insulting but we didn't do anything about it. Then there was the time when we walked past a group of three guys and one of them said "Yuck" when he looked at me, fifteen years later and it still hurts to this day. When I was a teenager in high school a guy called me "Ape face" and that too still hurts, when I look back on it now I should of said something back like "I'd rather date an ape instead of a shallow pig like you!". Getting insulting looks and comments from men in public is the main reason I have really low self confidence and self-esteem and it's something I'll probably have to live with for the rest of my life. There have been guys that were nice to me but I get the feeling they are only that way out of pity and their kindness makes me feel awkward because I'm not used to guys being nice towards me. I hate being me and my life sometimes. I wouldn't wish it on anyone.
