What do "normal people" eat?

For some reason people seem to think my eating habits, the foods I like, are weird. I have a low appetite so I eat a lot of liquid soups and salad and stuff that doesn't make me feel "full" and I fill up the remaining calories binging on low-fat ice cream which doesn't hurt my stomach. Maybe it's "weird" but gets the job done. I want to know what you "normal people" are eating though!

    Your eating habits are normal and they aren't weird, for I also drink soups, nourished with crusty bread, but I wouldn't eat ice cream for it hurts my stomach, so yeah eating low fat & drinking healthy soups from broth or water and eating salads as I do as I'm on a low appetite is normal.

    Also soup and salad is a healthy diet in a lot of ways. Soup is mostly water so you can eat very little calories but won't feel very hungry right away. Salads can be filling but they take effort. You just eat healthier than most people. But a lot of people have poor diets or other sort of health issues which make them frequently hungry

    There no such thing as normal as people eat a variety of things. There is some idea of normal way of eating but not what you eat. However, it could be argue some things are unsafe but that's not abnormal it's just unsafe.

    That doesn't sound like the healthiest diet, but you do you. I hope those salads aren't just lettuce.

    I eat whatever I feel like eating, which is usually on the saltier side. French fries, burgers, curly fries, chicken, thick-cut fries, rice n' cheese, potatoes, crackers, bags of potato starch, whatever goes good with extra salt and isn't a vegetable. I force myself to add veggies on top just so I'm not completely screwing myself. As long as I make sure to cook at home rather than getting everything through fast food, I feel good. The only time I experience bloating is when I drink milk, but I really like milk.

    I think the "normal" diet is usually on an extreme of the spectrum. It's either very unhealthy and expensive (fast foods, processed foods), or super-healthy and even more expensive (if you've never heard of it, I eat it with kale).

      Your "extreme diets" theory is interesting and tbh you might be right. Most people fall into categories of fatties or a gym rats or "clean eating" Instagram chick at least in my experience

    I started a new diet because after years of constant nausea I found out I had celiac disease. I now eat a high fat, low carb diet. Ive become ripped. I eat lots of samon, steak, beef, pork, chicken and also vegetables all cooked in virgin olive oil. I sometimes eat fruit. I eat no junk food, which includes rice, bread, and other sugar crap.

    Things I've noticed since this diet is all bloating went away. I never have gas. My stomach has gotten really flat. My beard and hair started growing thicker. My dandruff issues cleared up. I build muscle easier (probably from all the meat and fats im eating). The diet has been really hard to follow and expensive, luckily I have a wife who cooks and makes it possible. But the benefits are surprising. I feel better cognitively as well on this diet because theres never any blood sugar dips my glucose levels stay the same always.

    I been staying ontop of bloodwork because mainstream nutritionists say this causes heart disease but my LDL is fine and triglycerides have even dropped.

        Eating more saturated fats raises free testosterone. You have total testosterone and free testosterone but your free testosterone is the only one that really matters for athletic performance. You have much more total testosterone and eating more fats actually frees up some of that testosterone into "free testosterone" which causes you to have more access to the hormone.

        You could have the highest testosterone levels in the world but have low free testosterone and you'll have low T symptoms.
