What’s life like with diabetes

I want to learn more about Diabetes.

What steps do you need to take to keep your blood sugar stable? What foods do you try to avoid? Do you stay away from salty foods to avoid dehydration normally caused by high blood sugar levels?

What does it feel like to have dangerlously low or high blood sugar levels?

Thanks

well insulin is the master hormone of ageing so tight control of glucose levels with insulin does not increase life span acording to studies . type ones die 20 years early , type two die 10 years early. the latter you get it the better and its reversible by losing weight. Oh before insulin a diabetic diet was used.

    • What was the diet like? I’m assuming low sugar and salt, and perhaps no carbs.

If you have diabetes, consult your doctor. You won’t get the appropriate advice on this website or any other. Diabetes is managed based on many personal health factors.
