Suppose someone destroys your life. Intentionally and viciously and Takes away many things that are dear for you. I'm not talking about how a prophet's reaction should be and not talking about perfect human beings. I need answers from people who also post is it normal things here.

feeling something and actually doing it is two things. I have had thought of beating up and ruining the lives of the bullies from like, 5 years ago in middle school.

I think if the person has done something awful enough then it's pretty normal to wish they were dead.

Yep. I think if wishing that person's death is a temporary emotional reaction it's all normal. Thanks for the reply.

It's probably quite a common thing. I can think of someone I used to want to drag right, straight to Hell myself. The years of hate, and resentment didn't help me to be completely honest. I know it sounds cliché, but holding onto resentments is like taking poison, and expecting your enemy to die. The best revenge is to get over them, and try to live a good life.

So true. The most rattional answer. Most people, at some point when being desperate wished death for the one who has hurt them badly. It is normal from the psychology point of view or any humane point of view. Also it is not a crime to wish. No matter it's a bad or good wish. But holding it for a long time is a problem for the person. It amazes me how a simple general question makes some people on comment session go ranting about some thing that I even didn't give an opinion about it. The amount of stupidity existing in human society always amazes me. Any ways, Thanks for your useful reply

  • You should watch the movie The Count of Monte Cristo, I suggest the one with Guy Pierce

It's normal to want revenge, but you'll be accumulating a lot of bad karma in the sense that your behavior will change to be more deceptive and evil

What would be better would be to use this experience to become smart enough to deal with this situations in the moment so they don't transpire, that way you can shut them down and both of you would know that you can. You'd be too much effort for someone to mess with, not to mention even if they do mess with you you've now shown you can also do stuff to them.

Thanks for your reply. It had some good useful points. What I asked was a question. I didn't say I happened to be wishing bad for someone I didn't. I made a topic to discuss the thing because I was reading a pychologic article about it. But if I talk about my own opinion, It is the most self destructing act upon yourself. An imaginary negative action which you repeat in your mind. So poisonous for the person. If some one hurts me so I feel the need to punish them, I would hurt them bad psychologically, in a way that me being directly invloved with it will seem zero percent. Then after it's done I will make them understand it was me undirectly. So they be a lesson for others. killing is never an option for me because it's a weakness. it's the lack of social skills. Also they won't be alive to taste their punishment. cheers

Depends on what they did... I'll definitely get my revenge and make sure it's painful, but I'd only kill them if they hurt my parents bad, or killed them.

Then even God won't save them from my wrath. I would watch them beg for death.
Especially if said enemy killed my parents, then I'm going after their family...

I would kill them depending on what they did, if the reason for me wanting to kill them is justified them I would murder them.

I would want them dead and would be very tempted to dismember the body and display it to deter people for crossing me again.

Problems with law enforcement that a murderer will face aside, Killing is a weakness. It's the lack of social skills. But until it's only speaking, All people do that. You have done that too. Since you're not an Alien And no one can be sure if you were joking or not until you commit the crime. No normal human being wishes goodness and luck upon, for example, the one who (god forbids) kills a dear one of theirs.
