Trump vs biden making america great again

Just a general question.
Do you think Trump would have made america great again, even though it was never great from the beginning?

Or do you think biden would have done a better job??

Help us keep this site organized and clean. Thanks!

If either of them actually did, neither of the two main parties would be particularly happy with the outcome.

    • First enacted policy, make any political parties a form of treason

People will work in the government, the government won't work for parties

I do agree that government enacted political parties are stupid; people should be able to vote for whomever they want in any election, as long as they are residents of the state in which the election is taking place. However, you have taken that idea to an excessive extreme.

        • It was kinda a joke, but I do think parties create problems. It's a big social game when it comes to getting bills passed, it should be about what we should do and what we can afford, not who happens to have a majority and who they owe their allegiance to

While many of the goals of President Trumps "Make American Great" policy are in fact quite admirable. President Trump is not the person who could ever implement those goals.

Implementing real goals requires the ability to tell the truth, accept responsibility, and compromise with other people. President Trump has never shown a willingness to do any of those. It's his way or the highway, and if you cross him he degrades you and your future abilities.

That's not how successful people operate in any real world arena.

In my opinion President Elect Joe Biden actually shares some of the "Make America Great" goals; and he might just pull those off because he has a multi-decade history of treating people with respect, honesty, and working across the political isle with others to find compromises to move America ahead.

Of course, none of that will be easy due to the nature of politics. Good things really worth doing are never easy. If they were - they would have already been done.

It depends on what one thinks is great and Americans clearly dont agree on that.

I do think America is atleast in the top 5 best countries to live in. I dont think it deserves as much insults as it gets from foreigners. People looking in from the outside see crazy stuff happening but fail to realize America is really big, with different cultures, different crime rates. If you talk to people in Chicago most of them have different views than someone in Alabama for. You may get shot or robbed in Chicago but your chances of that happening in other places is near 0%. Not everywhere are the gun laws the same either. Every state is kind of like its own country.

For example in New York or CA you can not carry a gun on you without going through a long process of permits and fees and even then most of the good guns are illegal there. But then you could go to my state where as soon as you turn 18 you can buy an AR15 with no permit needed and keep it in your car. Or even carry a pistol with you concealed with no permit.

I do believe America is great in a lot of ways. The government our founding fathers designed was very good. But no system is perfect, they're all corruptible.

I also think the economy gets too much shit. Most people really are not as bad off as the media has you believing. There are so many good paying jobs. And almost every profession in America pays atleast in top 3 countries. Google a random profession like roofer for example and compare how much they make in America to anywhere else.

The worst thing about America overall is our healthcare system needs to be redone. But alot of people do still have really good healthcare here.
