Trt by age 40

Im in my early 30s now and I am planning on getting on testosterone by a doctor when I am in my early 40s. Reason being because I have always been into fitness but I am learning that in my early 30s I'm having alot more problems building muscle. I workout 5 times harder than I did at 20 but I dont get the same gains. I still look in good shape but I want to be back to how it was when I was 20.

At 20 I could stop working out for a few months and then in a few weeks of starting working out I'm back to where I was. Now it takes me 6 months to get back to where I was. At this point it takes about 3 months to get the results I use to get in only 3 weeks.

  • How much of a role does growth hormone have to play in muscle growth at a young age? My testosterone levels seem normal based on my sex drive and I know as we get out of our teens our growth hormone plummets.
