To be afraid of boredom?

I don't like being bored because it always leads to me being naked and covered with ketchup.

The more I think about it the more rational this fear becomes. Boredom just leads to awful things, like depression. I'm with you in looking for things to do but not through pain, although that is another thing that boredom could lead you to. It's like that Twilight Zone episode, what makes hell so bad, it's losing all the fun out of life, constantly stagnant. Hell is being bored.

The only thing that ever truly terrified me was being on my death bed regretting the things I hadn't done.

i dont understand what you mean by pain? i hate being bored but would never harm my self on purpose maybe do something with the chance of getting hurt
