Tired of just saying "i love you."

I've recently started a long-distance relationship with someone I have a lot in common with and we treat each other right. However, she's not allowed to call or Facetime me because I'm not part of her family (we're keeping our relationship secret for now). I've started to notice I can only message her a day or two once in a while, because I get bored after much longer. All we ever seem to say is "I love you," and that gets old after awhile. I'm trying to keep our relationship fresh, but my options are limited. Any advice on what I can do?

Help us keep this site organized and clean. Thanks!

I dunno, an adult that's controlled by their family to the point of it getting in the way of a relationship isn't really worth it. You're probably better off finding someone in your neck of the woods. As is she. The long distance only complicates things further when it comes to her situation.

It sounds like neither of them are invested in this relationship and breaking it off would be a relief on both ends.

So start trying to explain how much you love the other person...

More than all the grains of sand on all the beaches in the world... was an early one I used.

More than .... (I have many variations that I use as I've thought of various things, time and space, our ability to effectively communicate)...

    You get the idea...

I'm not going to tell you my best ones... Lets see how creative the two of you can be.

She’s not allowed to FaceTime? How old is she? If you’re both very young she is likely inexperienced in relationships and thinks that two teenagers pretending to love each other is all it takes.

Reminds me when I was in a so called long distance relationship as a teen and all we did was text each other "I love you xxx" and "hugs xxx". Real exciting shit, very deep and real. Will never 4get

Where is she from that her parents tell her what she can, and cannot do as a legal adult?
