The war on religion

I won't say much, but there's always the attacking and ridiculous feelings against the Puritan faith, if I give it up they win and this years long battle if reality wasn't terror people wouldn't gaslight you, you would've kept your identity from 14 years old and wouldn't reconsider your identity in the first place!

Help us keep this site organized and clean. Thanks!

There has always been a war between different religions. Some of them are the bloodiest and most brutal wars in our history.

Wars are fought for 2 reasons: To steal or protect land, property and resources; or over religious beliefs.

This years long struggle (and I'm not trying to win), when will it end?

When you reach a certain level of mental development and awareness.

After that point you will pretty much ignore the war, and either treat people politely who know that they can no longer affect you, or cut them out of your life as much as possible.

Yes, that's a fine idea, ignoring the war, being polite, as that stuff's going down well.

You ignore the war because you know that you have already won it, and aren't going to waste your time with the people still trying to fight yesterday's battles.

The people who understand the war is over are people you are polite with.

The ones who are stuck in the past are the ones you cut out of your life. Let them fight someone else - or perhaps a brick wall.

Yes I see. Then after all this moving on from the war shouldn't be too easy, as nothing nice is too easy.

They want you to lose religion because if you don't listen to God then you'll listen to them. And that's how they'll control you

      I sure hope I don't lose religion.

More bait? Guys, this semi-comprehensible waffle of a post isn't worth falling out for. Leave it be. Practice and advocate your ideals in peace.

Do you think you make peace by your assumptions which seem to claim I have authority over you? Give me a break! It's not about what you should believe in, it's all about myself!

He's saying, "If you don't like it, don't look at it," which is a very stupid mindset, to be honest.

Yes, that's right, welcome back Clunk, the king of religion, how are things with you?

I am no king of religion; I actually know very little, relatively. I am fine.

  • You're beginning to see the game but you have yet to see yourself as a player

Especially with religion, people start to build ideas on things unproven. This is called dogma. There's no proof for a god yet some to decide to believe. With that belief comes more assessments, based on a belief based in dogma.

Psyches can be frail, and when someone presents information that contradicts our dogma, our preconceived notions, we get defensive because to admit defeat or being wrong we're admitting we're lacking so much intellectualism that we're able to fervently believe in presuppositions and then forego them for anything that might make a little more sense

It's the human condition you're noticing. If you can see and understand this and are upset by it then perhaps you should look into philosophy more than religion

I'm not upset by it, people's feelings over puritanical faith are a joke, I like laughing at the feeling. And furthermore it's silly and I feel ridiculous.

Whenever I think of puritanism I think of how I was supposed to read The Scarlet Letter in college, and how it was like pulling teeth for me. I honestly think the puritans were truly awful people!

They were sinning no doubt, as executions contradict Puritan doctrine, but suppressing the Puritans with so many rules only turns Puritans into angry people who aren't good themselves. It's all misinterpreted, you're not allowed to kill people.

Buddhists make the mistake of being a very corrupt Buddhist because similarly they misinterpret their holy books, Luciferians turn evil because they misinterpret Luciferianism, Satanists kill and rape women because they misinterpret Satanism.

Therefore all religions are evil if you misinterpret them.

For me Catholicism is the one true faith!

Now I'm reminded of a song with a relevant title. 😎

That's good as for me Puritanism's the one true faith (it can't be explained why Christianity's good, good is taken on faith, you were unconscious when you thought this was good, even if you were an atheist, which you're obviously not).
