The usa is mentally ill

The USA is a severely mentally ill country controlled by rich psychopaths. It really has become such a sick place. I feel sorry for anyone stuck there. I’d be trying to find a way out fast if I was there that’s for sure. When I was growing up in the 70s and 80s everyone looked to the USA because it seemed like such a cool place where you could be and do anything. It really has become a weird dystopian nightmare. It’s sad to watch it imploding. It’s the Divided states of America these days.

I actually genuinely like you as an iin person, but I just could not disagree more with this comment. I'mma make a long comment, & don't bother reading it all if you aren't into it...just this part is sufficient:

The news in other places in the world (not all of them, but many of them) is nothing like American news. It's just...not blatantly biased, opinion fucking pushing, petty politically motivated, bitch slapping, commercial interest fund-sucking, ferret-toothed-face-puchable 'consultant' having, baddly-written-blog scribbling, hateful shitlord employing, absolute panic driven, fear-for-ratings mongering, medical commercial pushing, dumpster fire, trash box of stupid, living malignant tumors sreaming over eachother in talking head squares.

Watching CNN & Fox is no better than getting your information from two rabid fucking dumpster possums squabbling over a moldy, maggot infested, 3 week old poptart.

Ok, you can stop reading if you bored.

Most of the people on here are obviously cable news watching fucktards, granted...but if you don't think America is broken, God fucking help you.

President saying retarded shit on Twitter constantly
      Shamefull record on environmentalism
Spread of anti-intellectualism- anti-vax, Steve jobs dying of juice cleanses, HAES, etc
      Fucking fuckloads of mass shootings
Goddamn disenfranchisement to an epic degree
      A goddamn cult uprising
Oh...God...people who are stockpiling weapons because they think they can take on the government

We have cities ON FUCKING FIRE because of a brutal police murder...but not because it's the first one...

      And the division...holy shit...

People who disagree with one another are so divisive, they are no longer capable of being civil. Everytime I come on this website, it's people calling eachother nazi's & snowflakes & stupid dems.

This country has just become an absolute state of fucking cancer & there is so much goddamn venom, and arrogance & stupidity. I do not see how it can be fixed. The people who don't see that are part of the problem; part of the American superiority complex that does not allow them to address what is wrong, because they still think they're doing better than everyone else.

It's sad to see, because I do genuinely love America even though I sound like I fucking hate it. I just hate where it is now.

      You'all sick.

Everyone in america has a healthy amount of paranoia for their goverment. No goverments ever perfect so having a populace that is heavily armed and is constantly watching for when the goverment passes the line. It's not an if, it's a when.

The media does not help. Honestly I think they should have a little banner on the corner representing which side of the political side so people dont think that their news is 100% unbiased because all news has its bias.

& idk, I know you're a conservative/liberatarian, whatever...I don't bother coming here to change minds about politics, but...BIG FUCKING FACE that you think the government has yet to pass the line...as in, they have not done it yet.

Good thing you have all the guns ready, grapenuts. Jfc.

You know, I cannot help but wonder about these survivalists who think their stockpiled weapons is going to stop the feds. Maybe they think it is like an 80's video game where one "good guy" can kill 1,000's of opponents.

Everyone knows it is this guy alone standing in the way of a full scale takeover.

Well seeing how we are still fighting sand people with their makeshift technicals, even though we use high tech bombs and drones they still are dangerous and hard to remove.

Now these planes and drones need to land somewhere. Well we know if theres an airbase somewhere, a 50 caliber round into a delicate engine of a plane will mess it up profoundly so you dont even have to break into the airport itself to do damage. And it will happen in every single goverment run airbase. Not the goverment would use combat drones on it's own people, because that's how you would create even more insurgency.

I think you may have a distorted view of America as a whole. If you're watching the major news networks, right or left leaning, you are being sold a narrative. Things for the most part are great. Yes, we have racial issues. Most countries do. Covid has really kicked our ass but we'll get through it. There is plenty of opportunity in America and many freedoms. It's not perfect and could definitely use help in a few areas but to say that we're mentally ill is false.

America is the only place where people from all over the world can escape to. America is made up of people from every corner of the world. So the nutcases and trouble makers, you refer to, can easily be from your country. America is so bad that people risk their lives just to get here. Who can say that about your country. Yea it isn't perfect, but we are the oasis in the middle of the desert that many people want to be at. In spite of all of the blemishes that America has, I wouldn't want to be anywhere else. I have no desire to visit or travel the world because anything I want to see or do is already here.

    • This is the delusion that you live under. You’ve been sold a lie that you're the greatest country on earth and every one wants to go there. Sorry to be the one to tell you but it’s not true. There are way better countries with way better conditions than the USA where everyone gets affordable healthcare, where the minimum wage is above the poverty line and nobody feels the need to own a gun to protect themselves.

The point of the right to bear arms is so that militia groups can exist to protect us from tyrants. Dictators like taking guns away from civillians.

America is run by the rich and people think they have freedom because they can choose between 2 choices for each issue that the media pushes on us and not get shot. People are so dumb they actually believe the elections are real.

    • LloydAsher

What do you mean no first world country is perfect. It's perfect from some peoples frame of reference. In the books there are currently no enforcable laws that discriminate based on race. What the individual law officers do when they break said laws should go to prison as it's what justice requires.

Do not blame the system blame the individuals, it's bad when you blame systems not the perpetrators of going beyond the books.

I Compartmentalize hatred to individuals rather than hate an entire organization it's the best system to weed out the bad systems from the good when the individual is at fault.

Blatantly terrible organizations on the other hand where it's written to be oppressive is another beast all together. Obviously terrorist organizations need to be destroyed in its entirety. Free speech is good, you just can't force people under the threat of violence to do something because it breaks a moral law that is arbitrary based on peoples faith instead of natural laws and the constitution that america is governed by.

You mean the majorities in the cities that didnt fix any police problem even though it was democratic run for 20 years?

The electoral college makes sure that people in the flyover states get just as much say as the larger states. It's to prevent these rural communities from just hunkering down and creating a new country where they have an actual say and control. We are the united states, each state needs a say in who can be their leader. You cant just let mob mentality rule otherwise presidential candidates would ONLY do events in major cities.

You might think it's petty but if everyone thought this way, countries would be quick to change their policies on things. They don't care what people think of them so long as they still give them their money. It's the same reason I'd never visit and support China or Russia or Iran or places like that.
