What civilization was the greatest? Mesopotamia? Egypt? Greece? Rome? Britain? Mayan? America? Soviet Union? Ottoman?
The Borg. Resistance is futile!
Easy. Roman empire
They literally created the concept of "The west" because of how successful they were. Heck most of european languages have a direct connection to latin.
Plus how they waged war was a masterpiece. Their downfall is what created the time known as the dark ages.
More like simply throwing endless bodies at it and getting their asses kicked fighting pixies 😉
Ohh sorry u said getting ass kicked throwing endless bodies at the enemy I got mixed up
The romans threw a shit ton of bodies at wars, don’t let the “strategic skill” shit that gets banded about as the be all and end all fool you.
Example in their lost war against the Picts, who weren’t even a warring people. They only fought when threatened, romans were never able to hold the territory.
I strongly agree with you, Lloyd, the Roman empire was incredible
I also believe that rome was the greatest empire in history (atleast that we know of)

I'm waiting for the James Webb Space Telescope's latest findings.
Britain by far. We civilised savages and gave the world hope.
The Romans civilized you though. lol
Yes, yes they did. No doubt about it.
And then lost time and again to your own colonies. To the point of now just being an island.
Hell you gave up india because one guy starved himself.
The queen still has executive power in australia and canada and can legally abolish parliament in any commonwealth country. Whether or not there'd be a revolution if she did is up for debate but under law her powers are not just "symbolic" as people claim.
Enit, that was ridiculous. Imo we never should have joined ww1 or ww2.
To be fair ww2 was mostly you guys fault. After ww1 the americans didnt want to punish germany, you guys wanted sole blame on Germany. Inevitably creating the perfect grounds for a charismatic leader to gain a foothold by using a scapegoat.
That was the French's fault. They nicked Alsace-Loraine and kept it for themselves.
Way down below the ocean
