That i dropped out of school due to depression and anxiety?

I dropped out of mainstream school in year 9 because I was extremely depressed and had bad panic attacks. I'm currently doing online school because completing my education is important to me.
I guess what I want to know is if I'm the only one?

School really doesn't teach you about life, it just gets you used to a routine, regular job schedule, etc.

That's how the educational system would present it to you. College is an unecessary scam nowadays. School is first and foremost, and only, to get you used to the 9-5 work routine and mindlessly obeying orders. How do you graduate grade 12 with no life or job skills otherwise?

Ya I would've been the same, where I lived there were programs where I could go to another building with just a few people and barely any work. Then I went back but only took a few classes. Grade 11 I dropped out entirely for 4 months but then went back and graduated. If the administration hadn't kept changing rules for me to keep me enrolled I would've dropped out too.

    Awesome you're doing online!!! 😊😊

great. gives you somthing to say during a job interview. do it right and i would be impressed so "practice your story , embellish as needed. and if you for some reason fuck up the on-line goal , fake it. getting the job is what is important, jut ask Trump. he waited untill he was up against a sure loser before he ran. So finish that degree and you too could someday become the president of the USA . yea right . that last part was just complete bullshit . we select presidents not elect presidents and you will never be in the crowd that does the selecting.

Some people who have a busy active life with kids, work, the dog to feed, etc,I many of them that haven't dealt with depression have no idea or clue how strong of a grip it can have on someone. I dealt with depression for close to 15-20 years. I'm male, and 30 years ago, I was victim of sex abuse while in my last 4 months of being in the Navy in San Diego. I for so long felt like a woman probably feels after being assaulted or raped. I wondered for so ing why didn't I do this or that or something else. For fear of being brought up in charges for beating this fuck to within an inch of his fucking life. Depression is a hard thing to kick. But if you c can see a Doctor that's good with depression, he can get you in meds and in a month or so you can be feeling like the old fun loving self.
