Tattle on your best friend

Is it normal for my best friend to call the sober living and tell them that i relapsed just because I didn’t wanna do what she told me too. She reported me just to get me kicked out on the street. This happened years ago but today she just threatened to tell my social worker the real story about something that had happened today. She’s a only child she pretty much is a spoiled rich kid unlimited supply of everything. Is she a good friend she’s stabbed me in the back before but we been friends since high school. Should I just unblock her. I just can’t believe she’s a snitch and very cold person.

That's not a "best friend"! Unless of course you did in fact relapse and she was looking out for you?

It's hard to say because we don't have your friends side of the story. In my opinion it's completely ok that they called you out. Sober living is supposed to be a sober environment without drugs or alcohol. If you are at a Sober living home then your friend did the right thing.

If you have a social worker then I can only assume that you have a problem. You may not like your friend now, but hopefully you'll understand if you manage to stay sober.

Have you actually done any of the things she's accusing you of having done?
