Stubborn about no "." sex

Hello. Just a warning, this post will be about periods and sex. If that grosses you out I suggest you move to the next post.

Long story short...I am a girl, and as you all know, once a month we have periods. Well, I have been continuously bleeding from, ya know, for over three months straight now. A whole 90+ days on my period.

My boyfriend HATES blood and thinks having sex during that time of the month is disgusting. As a result we have not had sex once in three months. I was just wondering if you guys thought it was normal to be so stubborn about not wanting to have period sex even when it's been three months. I thought maybe he would break after a while because I don't see anything really wrong about it, but not once has he had sex with me.

It seems like a lot of guys are ok with having period sex, especially when it's not a copious amount of fluid. I get a little angry because he just expects blowjobs and shit all the time, and I am tired of putting out and not receiving anything because of what I consider a stupid reason. It's not my fault and I feel bad enough about it.

So, is it normal a guy won't have sex with his woman because she is on her period, even after three months straight?

I wouldn't be worried about your boyfriend not sleeping with you while you're on your period. I would be more concerned as to why you've been bleeding for 3 months...periods should only last around 3-7 days.

  I got the depo shot and have been bleeding nonstop. It is awful. I did see a doctor and he gave me a conjugated estrogen named premarin to counteract the progesterone shot, and told me to get my next shot on time.
  
  Premarin did work but only for three days and the side effects were horrible. I raged, I cried, I was so emotional on that pill so I really don't want to go on it again.
  
  I am not taking another shot so missed my next dose. He said bleeding if I missed the shot would be normal, and that many people experience bleeding with the depo shot. So for now I am trying to tough it out and am trying to reestablish my hormones eventually.
  
  The bleeding is pretty light for the most part, but persistent. It gets worse and gets better, then gets worse, and I just want some dang sex. Haha.

    Yikes! So I'm guessing since you missed the last shot the bleeding will presumably stop soon? My boyfriend is very squeamish about period sex as well, in fact merely mentioning it will make him gag. I think a lot of guys are like this, as the concept of a period to them is pretty gnarly. To girls it's no big deal, because we've been dealing with it for years and to us it's just blood.
    
    I know it sucks and you wanna get laid, but you might just have to wait for the bleeding to stop. When it finally happens it will probably feel quite amazing. I know it's not nearly the same, but masturbation might help (assuming you're comfortable with that sort of thing) if you aren't already doing so.

You need to see a doctor about the 3 months straight about why 3 months straight and I hope you don't have a bad iron deficiency. This is not normal. There's some kind of medical issue here.

It is definitely not normal to bleed for three months however having said that I have had sex with more than woman who has either been on her period or just started up with her period or just finished with her period and all that I have to say about this is that my dick was red afterwards but I certainly had no strange side effects from it! At best it serves a lubricant!

Just depends on the guy, if he's not okay with it he shouldn't have to but you shouldn't be expected to put out either. Personally I'm fine with it and don't get why it's a big deal to some guys.

are you on some kind of contraception because when i was on rod I bled everyday and got it removed it was making me anemic please get a doc for some advice 3months is a long time for period might be a urine infection I.dont even know you and Im worried.

  Yes the bleeding is the result of the depo shot. It is pretty light most of the time but noticeably there, some days its red, some days it's brown. Gross. It goes through phases or worsening.
  
  I had something call a decidual cast also happen, which was crazy. This huge chunk of tissue fell out and I'm pretty sure my uterus is destroyed.
  
  I would have included more backstory behind the bleeding but the point of the post was about period sex, I hope this info sheds more light onto the situation! I appreciate your concern and am sorry you had to go through bleeding as well.

I haven't had a period for years cause I skip my birth control placebos.
Id get checked out Im sure there is something they can do for it.
I think its normal enough he doesn't like period sex, some people do and some find it gross. But get looked at either way.

  Yes I did get the depo shot. I tried it for the first time and never again!
  
  Before the depo shot I also tried normal pill birth control and bled nonstop on that too. Maybe my body just doesn't react well to birth control? People say just stick to it and it gets better, but on the pill I bled a whole month until I stopped taking it.
  
  I told him to do it in the shower but he is just so stubborn. I don't think his stubbornness is normal.

    I have the exact same problem as you!!! I got the shot a few months ago nonstop bleeding for 3 months, I'm now anemic thanks to that shit.
    I can only use non hormonal bitch control or I have a continuous period.
    And that is VERY odd for your bf, during my 3 months my bf who has OCD and hates blood went shower sex route.

I wouldn't be a huge fan of it but I have never turned it down. On st. Valentine's day last year after paying for the flowers chocs jewellery and hotel she told me its only bj's today. She said she was horny and wanted sex, my ex asked if we could we do it with a condom and it was lovely. she did it all and took the condom away after it was done lol

This guy that hasn't had sex in 3 months is probably stepping out on you.
