Southern us citizens

I feel southern US citizens have more in common with eastern europeans than western europeans at this point. Aside from economic opinions. As far as nationalism, immigration, and ways of dealing with issues is similar.

The southern United States is a bit of a wild card in the world right now. I would argue the southern United States has more in common with Russia and parts of Asia than it does with Europe, Canada, and the west coast US.

The Southern US has a lot of individuals who believe nationalism and traditional values. These are beliefs that can be found in regions of Asia as well as Russia.

Canada, Europe, and the west coast of the US, however, now value progressive values instead of traditional ones.

        • Ive often wondered how they both share these values and the rest of the west doesnt. Maybe something to do with both being shunned by the other western parts of the world or maybe its poverty. Maybe its a coincidence. I have a habit pf over analyzing things

    • Where abouts? In my area of Tennessee its a lot of ppl but mostly Californians. The californians seem to be a mix. They're either conservatives fleeing or liberals coming. Id rather eastern euros to come

        • Oh nice. My grandparents came to TN from Beaufort SC. My grandad had a hookup down there and use to buy a shit ton of shrimp cheap and would smoke them in a smoker for the whole town. It was cool.
