Someone please explain this “wizardy”

So I am a overly curious person and sometimes that gets me into trouble. Today after reading a bit about this “wizard Chan” I decided to make a post there asking just what it was all about. That didn’t get me very far. So this is a site for 30+ virgins to brag about having no friends, no job, no hobbies, etc? They literally compete to be the most miserable? I am having a hard time wrapping my head around this. Like, hows that shit work? I am utterly confounded.

Help us keep this site organized and clean. Thanks!

    If you can’t be the best at stuff to get attention, you want to be the worst at things or life to get it because then people might listen more

    I'd never heard of Wizardchan before (probably because I'm not a suicidal, misogynistic, permavirgin neckbeard), but Google led me to a typically sarky Encyclopedia Dramatica page about the site. If you've got nothing better to do for an hour or so, you can find out more than you ever wanted to know about the history and key people involved in this pathetic/vicious little echo-chamber.

    As usual with such sites, the main attraction seems to be that people hanging out there can get validation of their twisted opinions about the world.

    Wizardchan is dead. Current successor is Wizchan. Simply having a friend is not against the site's rules. The site has literally 4 boards for hobbies: /games/, /jp/, /music/, /hobbies/. Job threads just as castration, philosophy and suicide threads are also present. If you're not voluntarily celibate male virgin anti-natalist then that site is not for you.
