Sister is anti gay and our brother is gay

My sister doesn't believe in gay. She thinks it's made up. Our brother is gay but she's friends with him how is this normal? She hangs with him but doesn't believe gay is real thing but it's weird she's close to him and they spend lots of time together as siblings but she doesn't believe anyone is gay including him and he's engaged to a man for 6 months now been with him 5 years but she still thinks no one is gay

    People can have a difference of beliefs and still be friends. I don't think transwomen are women for instance, but I would be fine being friends with a trans if they were nice to me, and I would be nice back.

    Your sister and brother are proof that you can have different beliefs but not hate each other.

    You can accept that person as a person and still be friends. Even if they believe things differently.

    I wish more people in the world could accept others this way.

    Clearly the two of them have a kind of understanding with each other. Whatever they choose to tell each other about their lives and/or convictions, they're not bothered (as far as we can see) and they have what looks like a healthy friendship.

    There are enough people who talk the talk of loving everyone irrespective of this or that, but who don't walk the walk, when push comes to shove

    I'd sooner celebrate the fact that she appears to be doing what so many people claim to be doing, but aren't.

    I was once anti-gay but have a few friends who are gay, it took me a few weeks to grow out of it.

    However I think your sister will soon come off it and accept that your brother is gay. If she doesn't then she probably has some issues.
