Simpler cars

Do you think it would be better if we just left all the fancy computer stuff out of cars? I really like older cars because you just turn the key and drive. You dont have the same issues with the computer bugging out and it not starting. The car doesnt automatically lock when you go into drive so when you wreck you arent trapped inside and burn to death. I wish they still had the manuel window rollers too incase the electric stuff went out.

They should manufacture cheaper, low-power, low-tech cars, that still come with the modern safety standard. The best of both worlds. Not everybody needs all those features that modern cars come with, or the horsepower.

Last year I almost bought a 2020 Chevrolet Spark LS(at least that's what I think the cars name was). It had hand crank windows. It weirded me out, but it was the cheapest car they had in the lot. The dealership sold it even after I put a deposit on it. They said if I put the deposit on it, they'll hold it for me so I could take it for a test drive after work. Damn liars. I got my money back, but still. Lol

I have a 2002 Vauxhall Corsa, and I'm HIGHLY resistant to buying a newer one!

Agreed. I don't like the touch screen with a thousand menus newer cars have, which seem like a good way to distract and cause more wrecks IMO, not to mention that like you said, there's more that can go wrong. Neither one of my cars have it and I much prefer it that way.
