Should it be legal for women to go topless in public?

My home state was one of the states recently effected by the court ruling in Colorado in which the judge ruled that women had the same right as men to go topless in public. Some communities in my state have declared that they will pass local ordinances forbidding women from being topless in public. I, being the adventurous type, have decided to “test the water”! This past weekend my boyfriend and I rode on his motorcycle from Stillwater, OK to the Oklahoma/Texas border with me on the back topless. We got a few honks and hollers from passing cars and trucks, but did not get stopped during the entire trip. We even stopped at a couple of rest areas for potty breaks, but we did not get much negative feedback. What do you think....should women be allowed to go topless just as men do?

Well I probably wouldn't go topless if it was legal but sure why not. Otherwise make it illegal for men too, I really hate seeing disgusting men with their bodies halfnaked in the summer.

I don’t see what all the fuss is about. Approximately 50% of the world’s adult population has a pair of tits, so why is it a big deal for them to be visible. It’s not like they are something special that no one else has, so if someone wants to be topless whether they’re male or female should not be an issue. I think what is more relevant is, where, people choose to be topless. For example in a fancy restaurant or an office work environment I would consider it inappropriate to take my top off, but in the park, on the beach, working in the garden, etc why should it matter regardless of gender!

I too commend you for taking advantage of the changes in laws! My wife has always preferred to be topless, she commented that she's no longer breaking the law when driving topless :)
Our girls grew up sharing their mom's preference for being topless. Our youngest (24yo) jokes that the law came 13 years too late.
The way the law in Colorado is written, girls age 11 and older are also allowed to be topless.

I don't have any problems but beware you'll probably attract some creep stalkers. If you can withstand this then it should be your choice but during this time I don't consider it normally at all.

look this is the cold hard fact... If the man upstairs god almighty himself had intended on any person man or woman boy or girl to have needed to wear clothes or cover their bodies up with clothes the damn it WE WOULD OF ALL BEEN BORN WITH CLOTHES ON PERIOD... Its as simple as that

I feel like this will just increase prosation rates or gent men’s clubs but if it just so woman know they have the Wright to do so then maybe I guess

    Because we live in a world were people are warned growing up to not post nudes online. So walking around topless before you know it you will be on websights and then if someone is rapey... look I just dont think it's a good idea but to each there own
    
    Bug I think it should be legal so mothers can breastfeed without worry or for some type of movements it could be a beautiful thing or the otherwise

      But if it were to become normal behaviour there would be no reason for people to be posting it all over the internet. It’s the same as saying why shouldn’t men wear skirts. People make a big deal about that but at the end of the day it’s just an item of clothing so why shouldn’t men be accepted in skirts if it’s what they want to wear. It’s no secret skirts are far more comfortable in hot weather than trousers or even a pair of shorts
