Should i reveal and/or seek my fantasy?

I'm a 20 year old male who's personal family life growing up wasn't very pleasant but my social life was actually comfortable. Even being a huge geek for alot of things I was lucky enough to have the attention of alot of the pretty girls growing up. I was rather popular and I'm the type of person who can make friends with anyone. I cherish friends more than anything but at times I'm still sad because I've kept things from people. Desires I know would maybe drive people away. One main thing is my desire to cross dress as fictional female characters and role play my daily life as them. Examples: Princess Zelda, Samus, and various anime girls.I am straight and find myself attracted to females only but I just want to get lost in that fantasy for a while. One time when I was 14 and my hair was longer I was mistaken for a cute girl and I just thought "I'd make a cute Zelda." I met a girl who strikes me as very open minded. Should I ask her help?I fear if I tell, people will treat me different if word gets out.

I think you should pursue your fantasy. We live in a society that forbids men to behave in an overly feminine manner, but there are women out there who love feminine guys. I'm one of them and I bet you will eventually find a girl who will understand and accept you.

PS - I myself have always wanted to crossdress as male characters from my favorite anime or movies. I'm told that I'd make a good Mad Hatter (Johnny Depp version, and one of my biggest obsessions ever since 2010)

I can kind of relate to you. I'm a 23 year old male and I sometimes fantasize about dressing like other fictional characters. The difference between you and me is that I'm an openly gay (and masculine) man and that I only desire to dress like other fantasy male characters.

Believe it or not, I'm going to commission a custom suit of armor to be made sometime within the next few months. This group makes both Leather and Metal Armor. I wanna see if I can go for Metal since it looks and feels more authentic. Not sure if it's out of my budget or not. Leather Armor is more comfortable and cheaper but won't have that authentic feel.

If you feel this girl is open-minded, definitely consider telling her. There are some girls out there who love to reverse cosplay with a friend. I've seen guys who go to these Cosplay Conventions as Zelda and their girl friend would go as Link. It's definitely interesting, especially if they can pull it off really convincingly.

There are definitely people out there who won't judge you as harshly as you might think. I'm one of them.

Maybe she thinks you are gay. Maybe she thinks you are her new gay bestie. Girls love to have a gay bestie.

Perdue it. Check online for people that organize such events that you dress up as characters. When you show up they will be strangers at first so it will be easy for you and they will know who you are as a person right from the start and will only expect your wild side in the future. You will gain respect for having the balls to express yourself.
