Should i make videos or books for my travels?

Ok, so hopefully some day I hope to break out of my shell and become comfortable with traveling, and go all the places I can. My first initial thought was to practice by traveling to all 50 states in the US, and then every country in the world, and at the end of it all go to space. My original plan was to write a book about each state and country I visited, but then I thought of two things:
1. Although I like to reread books, I don’t know if anyone would want to reread books about some guy’s experiences in different places
2. I’ve heard of people going to the same country or state multiple times, and I figured I may miss something interesting on my first visit that I forgot to include in my book.

I’m a big fan of the YouTube channel TheCarpetBagger, who goes to various interesting places, and I thought I could try doing something like that, but with all the time this would obviously take, I don’t know if YouTube would even still be around! I just wanna know what the general public, my target audience, would want.
