Shakiness, regurgitation, and lethargy accompanying anxiety

I have no idea if these things are related, but lately I've had some problems with anxiety. At the same time, I've been shaky and tired, and I feel like I'm "dragging ass" everywhere I go. My handwriting has also gotten considerably worse, which I've attributed to the shakiness. I'm also always cold, and sometimes I seem to break out in cold sweats, especially my feet and hands. For whatever reason, I also started regurgitating most of my meals. This all started at around the same time; it's difficult for me because I honestly don't know how much to eat anymore. I'm not sure if I'm losing a significant amount of nutrients, but the amount I spit up seems pretty large, and I now get cravings and am hungry most of the day. I've had problems with bulimia in the past, but I overcame that a long time ago. I bring food back up pretty effortlessly now, which is why I call it regurgitating instead of vomiting. Sometimes I will think I'm about to burp and then gross, semi-digested food will come up! My trash bin is almoat filled with puke at the moment, as I've given up trying to make it to the toilet anymore (sorry, I know it's gross, but it's a waste of water flushing that much, and the trash can is usually much closer). I can't stand it and am wondering if this will end any time soon. The lethargy is bothering me almost as much; I don't know if it's related to anxiety or if it's caused by the lack of food. Is this normal for really stressed people?

The shakiness and lethargy remind me of symptoms of low blood sugar. Either way, I agree you need to see a doctor.

Please see a doctor ASAP: whatever is happening sounds quite serious and it's not something which can be fixed on this forum

    • Making an appointment now. It'll be a few weeks, but hopefully it'll be fine. Can't even hold down water, but it's worse when i lie down or exercise after, so for the moment I'm attributing it to really bad acid reflux :/

If you can't even hold down water and you're going to have to wait a few weeks to get an appointment, I doubt if you'll still be alive by then. I'd be getting myself to a hospital emergency department urgently with those symptoms.

It should be easy to find out if you have acid reflux: buy the appropriate medication, called Nexium here in Australia but may have other names elsewhere, eg Nexole/esomeprazole; available over the counter here but again maybe not everywhere.
