We often get snails all over our yard on wet days. I quite like them, but my sister usually just roller skates over them for her fun, and to wind me up. No way do I think she is normal. She says it's for the good of the garden.

I'd be more inclined to think a child was a psychopath if they DIDN'T kill what most people consider bugs
I forbid my kid from killing bugs for fun. I get em to take the bug outside. I dont know if its from this but when another kid cries at the playground hes always the one that comes up and comforts them when all the other kids run off laughing and playing. You dont want your kids to enjoy causing pain and not having empathy for others.
