Pet peeve about christians

They're liars in the sense that they always make false predictions. I think it's hard wired into their brains "I will go to heaven", "The second coming will happen on [some arbitrary date]", "the white hats will save us", I think it's dishonest and disingenuous because they ignore predictions that didn't come true and don't hold themselves accountable for their words. I think they're hypocrites for saying lying is a sin. It's quite irritating actually, to witness this behavior in person.

My biggest pet peeve about most "Christians" is that so many of them really have no idea what is actually in the Bible and cannot even actually tell you what it says.

That's why so many of them come off as spouting nonsense. Even if the correctly cite some passage they often apply it to a situation where it does not apply in the biblical text.

    • I'm not even really talking about the bible, just their general habit of thinking they can predict things especially if they pray hard enough.

They’re not technically lying if they believe it, just wrong.

I'd say about 99.9999999% of christians don't do any of that. They may think they're going to heaven, though, I guess?

Personally, I'm more of a "I HOPE I go to heaven" kind of guy, because I'm doing very little to "ensure" that I go there. I don't think I've done anything hell-worthy, but I'm also not the one to judge. ╮(╯_╰ )╭

That's what I take into consideration. Nostradamus is therefore a false prophet, in reality the future's gadgets and digital devices, not doom and gloom. If I can plant a shit in a Christian it will change how he's going to be pissed off at me. The reality is I might be absolutely wasting my time with the wars this religion creates.

It happens seemingly to be the case that Christians are lying, I think they are, prettying up what should be reality, nonsense. But somehow it's proven to some Christians that this is true, that is, their religion's true, spare me the embarrassment but the sin of lying is being repressed so the Christians lie, it's likely to be like that considering the rules are strict, hence the rules are broken, makes it easy to sin. How they maintain the Christian persona is a matter of their survival challenges, e.g. jealous son hates his dad being an atheist so he turns holy, religious and doing Bible study, or brother David notices loss of faith in my mother so he becomes a non-sectarian, typical Christian, always reading the Bible, and passes his religion on to me, bless his soul.

It's all about receiving filial love from mum and dad thus they're Christians to bring in the warmth of brotherliness.

In the book of Bla, we see here a beast with feet like a dragon and a face like a washboard. It chases the Harlot of Babylon around on a 4-cornered comet with seven heads and the word "Balogna" inscribed on its eyes. Clearly, this is talking about [current politician my audience doesn't like]. Send me more money for more predictions!

This is what I was about to say. Most Christians subscribe to the thought that nobody knows when the world will end, because that is what the Bible says. I think the doomsday predictors are people trying to sell books, get semi-famous, or scare each other.

I happen to like when they eat out and things get all sloppy!

Maybe that's why they have big families!
