People who act up about not being able to go to a gig

Some people really are so privileged that theyve seen a band like 10+ times yet if they have to miss a gig they act up like its the biggest misery of their lives and they will never recover and bohoo woe me same now with the pandemic for those people and bands have to cancel tours. Going to concerts is a privilege its not something you cant survive without and notice its always the people who gets to go to gigs constantly otherwise who cry so much about it, the people who lives far from where bands go to hold concerts or who has only afforded maybe 1 gig so far they take it chill and dont break down about it. Thos other people are literally insane and lowkey stalkers, the types to surrond their whole lives around the bands in an unhealthy and creepy way. Not to mention acting superior as fans because theyve seen a certain bands more times than others. Its not a competition and some people has lives and need to spend money on other things too or dont live in a giant city where bands go to hold concerts every year. I seen this types of people be the same types to follow celebrities around to take pictures with them and stuff. Imagine being a celebrity and always certain people come to follow you around. You'd just be nice for the sake of your reputation.

Never got the point in going to music concerts. So what if I listen to your music? Doesnt mean i want to experience it with a bunch of high and drunk people.

To each their own but it's not my cup of coffee.

    • I can relate a bit!
I hate how loud it is because im sensitive to loudness in general and I dont exactly love groups of people however it's magical to see your favorite band live, at least to me, so mixed emotions.
      I prefer small venues too.

I miss concerts so much, I only saw one small gig in a pub (legal at the time) in October in the whole of 2020 and even though they wouldn’t even make my top 10 bands list it felt like I was fully alive for the first time in months.

I agree that some people are far too elitist, I acknowledge that I have been privileged enough to live near a major city and (usually) have the money to spend on concert tickets, it doesn’t make me a “true fan” it makes me lucky. I never really understood the appeal of meeting celebrities you like as if they’re rude to you it would shatter the illusion and put a sour note on their work, for me anyway.
