Partner wants a baby but…

Me & my partner of 10yrs have decided to start a family, the thing is that when I’m ovulating, he just doesn’t want to know. I keep telling him that we’ve a higher chance of getting pregnant at this time of the month than any other. He just doesn’t care so why suggest it in the first place? He just wants sex as & when it suits him. Is this normal or am I wasting my time on him?

    It sounds like you want to start a family and your partner just wants something to fuck. Not to be an asshole, but if the father is going to be that disengaged and apathetic about the idea of his own family, I'd feel sorry for any kid being raised partly by him
