Parents don’t let their kids watch real cartoons?

They aren’t allowed to play animal jam and roblox until they turn 18 even though the chats are 98% safe and have a report button, they aren’t allowed to watch The Fairly Oddparents, or any cartoon I’ve mentioned to them, because they have to talk to their parents first about it, they are 7 years old and only allowed to watch Cocomelon, and any other retarded shit on YouTube kids. They are terrified of stupid shit because they haven’t really grown up. My cousin is four and when I was his age I was able to watch anything on Cartoon Network or Nickelodeon I fucking wanted, he has one of those sticky iPads and thankfully he doesn’t watch cocomelon but he plays those games that I wouldn’t even consider games, like tapping on the object or animal and it will say the name of tapped thing, I wanted to say to the parents “could you get an actual educational game for this kid? Like actually have facts about this animal? And it’s going to teach the kid that lions are the good guys even though they steal from and bully other animals, hyaenas aren’t actually the bad guys, they are smart too. Even though I’m on the spectrum at the age of four I knew who the good role model was in the cartoons. Kids these days (generation alpha), are afraid of the stupidest things like trees, or grass because they stare at an iPad screen all day.
