Opinions on deadlifting
Do you think its worth deadlifting? I have injured myself in the past doing it and it needed surgery. But now I have begun doing it with light weight only. But I feel Im getting stronger and needing more weight I still keep it quite light and do sets of 12.
You should just let the dead lie.
There is no reason you have to injure yourself doing deadlifts.
Deadlifts are the most fundamental weight training movement there is,
For men AND women. Just study how to train,
Just slowly work up with the weights.... and you should be working with a physical therapist who specializes in people who do serious exercises. They can teach you the warning signs and also assist with better technique to prevent injury.
