Opinions on deadlifting

Do you think its worth deadlifting? I have injured myself in the past doing it and it needed surgery. But now I have begun doing it with light weight only. But I feel Im getting stronger and needing more weight I still keep it quite light and do sets of 12.

Is It Normal?

  • There is no reason you have to injure yourself doing deadlifts.
    Deadlifts are the most fundamental weight training movement there is,
    For men AND women. Just study how to train,

  • Just slowly work up with the weights.... and you should be working with a physical therapist who specializes in people who do serious exercises. They can teach you the warning signs and also assist with better technique to prevent injury.
